For a few years, Nas' lyrics have been lacking potency and his beats were boring. At least when Jay-Z's lyrics were boring he had better beats (see: Kingdom Come).

NAS is one of the best. I cant believe the lack of respect he gets and then i hear HEAPS of praise on Jay Z who has done Nothing worthy since his first record, with a few good tracks here and there, but Jay has become more of a problem than an answer. And even though NAS almost fell into that trap for good he pulled himself out very quick, where JaY is still stuck in that web.
