What song/artists do you recommend, and what kinda reggae music do you like?

I am trying to find a song.. its doing my head in.. but thought why not start a thread anyway?

Tessanne Chin is awesome. she's also a Prince fan.

Saw Collie Budz last summer and was not impressed but I guess it all depends on what kind of sound you enjoy. I'm not one who's much for Dancehall or pop reggae.

Musicianship is where it's at for me.

The Maytals Band have been playing together for over 30 years and are among the originators of the genre.

Usually they are known as Toots and the Maytals with the legendary reggae soul singer, Toots Hibbert but when not touring or recording with Toots they do their own thing.

I'm not really an expert on the genre but here goes. For the most part I'm not too keen on modern reggea. Old reggea, like charmaine or the stuff Amy Winehouse does (Toots & Maytalls song), I really like.
