Would've been good if the camera men actually realised there was a performance on. They're like "OMG THE CROWD IZ CHEERING FOR SOMETHING, LETS FILM THEM!"

Mike always hired the best, choreographers included, when MJ did the moonwalk it was already old news to a lot of us, the breakdancing kids were doing those moves.
Nothing MJ has evr donre has been original. Not saying he isnt great, he is a great performer, if not one of the best ever.
Not trying to take anything away from the man or minimize his greatness, but above all one of the mans greatest gifts has been to be open to great producers, writers, choreographers, directors, etc, etc, always the best.

As much as I love Prince, sometimes I wonder what would have happened if he would have opened himself up to working with another great musician / producer. I respect and love the fact that he's always been his own man, but imagine Thriller without Quincy Jones?

A Great Producer might have spared us from a lot of the excesses of the 90's.

Or not.

well, you know what?, youre right, but maybe the charm, the legacy Prince will leave behind will be that whatever he did, the great, good, bad or worse, he called the shots and created his body of work mostly by himself, however he pleased.

I agree. For every "Wedding Feast", we have a hundred Erotic Cities, 17 Days, She Always in My Hair, etc, etc, etc.

I love that Prince had the courage to always be himself. If you think about it, anyone else in Minneapolis could have tried to do the same, but there is only one Prince.
