I know, OMG! When he went back to that one. Wow!! And I was in the heart of the crowd, watching the screen. The energy was just amazing. Everyone was singing "Hey, hey, hey." So many people, so many walks of life. Stevie is just a living legend, a treasure. I had never seen him live so I wasn't going to miss it for anything in the world. The weather channels kept predicting rain, but I said heaven will not rain on Stevie. The weather was beautiful. At one point during "Ribbon in the Sky" my sister pointed to the sea gulls flying overhead as the sun was setting and we just had to pause to take it all in. Then I saw a little girl who was about 10 singing the chorus, and I was so grateful to be there experiencing it all.

yes, that was awesome. at the pride parade, on the other hand, about 6 lesbians got into a really nasty fight right in front of me. it was awesome Stevie should have been there keeping thier asses in check.

You might get your wish. He usually plays "Knocks Me Off My Feet". He played it here in Detroit--and I just lost it It was beautiful

Moonbeam said: You got my 2 favorite Stevie songs- "My Eyes Don't Cry" and "As"!
He did "As", but he didn't do "Eyes" here in Detroit. Some people were just waiting for "Eyes" so they could do "the dance"!!

I don't know about other cities--but here in Detroit, there's a line dance that's done to "Eyes" at every wedding, dance club with the over 30 crowd, house party, etc. . . We call it a "hustle" (and there's fifty million bazillion versions of it), although I know in other cities it's called the "electric slide".

LA concert was great
Did he have is little boy play drums to Superstition in other cities? Too cute - he was killing me! I liked all the kids on stage for bits and songs. No Eyes - but the set list was similar to Chi. Everybody was up and dancing and singing... and it was an incredibly diverse crowd. all in all VOTE....EARLY

Oh cool so he's taking a horn section on his world tour this year???
I saw him in San Diego last year on his Summer tour and he didn't have horns then. Now he's coming to New Zealand, I'm gonna get tickets next week! I love a live horn section so that would put the icing on the cake! _ Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...
