What went wrong with the Kylie's X Era?

A huge debate is stormig the k-fan comumity...and all because of an article in a gay mag done by the guru from popjustice.co.uk....

Acording to me, Matronik, the almighty pop music master, X era flopped because:

A. Bad choices of Singles...it should have been:

1. 2 Hearts
2. The One...with the gay-tastic Freemasons mix that all of u must have
3. Speakerphone
4. All I See

I love X...it's my favorite K-album

Over the last few years i have listened less and less to her albums after i get them, kind of like Janet and Mariah. I dont dislike the album, but nothing huge for me.

The album has two decent songs.

It deserved to flop.

For Kylie, I think Light Years, Fever, & Body Language were hard acts to followed. Those three albums sound like a great movie trilogy and the hype behind X didn't & couldn't measure up to those standards.

poor single choices and maybe wrong song chocies all together on the album.

The One would have been a better lead off track and not sat on until the 4th single. But the tour has been pretty interesting with the constant change up in running order.

It's a good CD. It's better than BODY LANGUAGE. Not every album is gonna be popular. X has flopped so far in the US though I understand it's done well throughout parts of Europe, Australia and Japan.

i think in the UK it's doing well as well but deemed a flop because it didn't hit the pole position which is the first time this has happened since she signed with Parlo.

apprently there is also a great deal of unhappiness between Kylie and the people at EMI. it might not be long before Kylie joins the like of Prince, George Michael, NIN, Madonna, Coldplay and Jay-Z
