Sister Sledge is one of my favorites from back in the day, that stretch of albums betwwen 1979 - 1983 I listen to faithfully. It also don't hurt that they are PHILLY!!(My hometown ya'll, lol) legends. This is my favortie cut by them:

Not too long ago,I finally bought the 'All American Girls' CD and I love it.Produced by Narada Michael Walden but it has a Chic-like sound.Lots of cool jams on that album.I wonder...was "If You Really Want Me" released as a single back in 1981? It seems that I remember hearing it on the radio alot. | |
