Now that Madonna ended her contract with WB...

What do they have left to release??

I've read there must be some Madonna unreleased things, like the Blond Ambition Tour on DVD...

Is there anything they have left to continue cashing in (and of course, to make fans happy??
biggrin
Any info? hmmm

I think Pioneer owns the rights to Blond Ambition, not Warner Bros.

Oh right - I forgot just before ROL was released Madonna was planning this remix cd which got shelved - I never knew any tracklist or anything was ever made up.

I heard from a friend over at Warner Music Group that on their schedule for Fall is a box set and a 2 disc 'highlights' from the box set kinda thing. Things can change but that sounds just about right...

-Very Best Of Madonna

-Ultimate Madonna

Does anyone have infor on what exactly that might be? I would hope it would be pretty inclusive as the other GH were lacking many songs.

I can't imagine anything less. To put out a singles box that would cover at least 4 CD's...then there's the B-sides.

i think 4 discs of singles and a disc of b-sides would be pushing expectations, though i'd love it.

i think at this point, i'd be happy with a 3 complete discs of singles (in their original single versions... meaning edits and radio mixes, etc.) and a 4th disc of the better b-sides, rarities, and some unreleased songs.

a two-disc version culling the best of all of that, as is mentioned above, would probably be a good idea too, to serve as a definitive GH package, since she doesn't really have one at this point (GHV2 is missing too much, TIC is nice, but the novelty of the mixes has worn off).

I found this ridiculous, fake 'GHV3' CD on one of the forums that I visit:

The sad thing is,what Warners comes up with probably won't be too much better confused Unless they do the box set thing and add a few rarities.

Do you honestly think they'll go with a 3rd greatest hits set....considering she only had such a small handfull, why? I believe the rumors that they'll go with a boxed set with music videos. a concert or two and there will be a paired down "Music Only" verison.

No, not possible at all. Not only she had several non-hits since GHV2, she only released 3 albums since then, and her previous ones had 4, so it wouldn't even be enough for a singles collection.
