Patty LaBelle is a Great Singer. I really enjoy her concerts and albums. The original who sang "Lady Marmalade" and just is absolutely AMAZING! MUCH Props to Patty LaBelle. A True Diva.

seen her 5 times live. she is wonderful. and you will never see so many flamin queens in your whole life. there should be one big unisex bathroom at a patti show.

I really love Patti LaBelle,but it's been AGES since she recorded a consistent album that's great from start to finish.The last truly great album she did was 1986's 'The Winner In You'.Since then,her albums have been disappointing and loaded with filler.Her most recent album 'When A Woman Loves'(2000) consisted of sappy Diane Warren songs!!! She really needs to hook up with a great producer,and get back to doing more soulful music.

Her 1983 album 'I'm In Love Again' was produced by Gamble and Huff,and it's a classic.THAT'S the direction I'd like to see her move back into.

can't get a Decent Album all the way through with Her IMHO.She has been stuck doing alot of Whitney Houston Light Albums for Years IMHO.but Live She is on Her Game Usually.but She has Better Songs than Albums overall IMHO."if only you knew" alone kicks the Booty off Her Albums over the past Decade&Change IMHO.

i think it's her first one... it's originally on the bob dylan cd "blonde on blonde" although it's on a few live albums as well...





both versions kick ass... i was surprised when i heard patti's version, because it's a relatively obscure bob dylan song, in the sense that it's one that's not covered very often, if ever... plus, she makes it funky as piss...
