... Sounds like he could of came from the "Gaucho"-era Steely Dan. Donald had "The Nightfly" out in '82 too. The whistling synth line, the lyrics and the melody on down is very Steely!  |

Yeah, Common used it, and Dwele does a version on his new album, it's sounds like the same one he did with the Platinum Pied Pipers....he kinda combines the feel of the Bobby Caldwell original and Common's sampled version... ...
