Love this song. Always thought it had a "McCartney" vibe to it.

You saw him last night? Give us your review! I'm seeing him next week. I'm horrible at reviews! I don't remember the entire setlist. But I would say it was a really great concert that kicked into overdrive more in the second half--as I said, he played a LOT of "Innervisions" a few tunes from "SITKOL" ("I Wish" "As" "Knocks Me Off My Feet"), also did "Part Time Lover", "Overjoyed", "Ribbon in the Sky", did the Temps "My Girl" with that talkbox thingy, "I Was Made to Love Her" "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" "Superstition" and a couple of jazz covers, "Spain" and another one that his daughter sang solo (the name escapes me). He also did a new tune from one of his upcoming projects (not the one dedicated to his mom). He had a 13-piece band: two percussionists, drummer, two keyboardists (besides himself), trumpet, saxophone, two guitarists and Nathan Watts and three singers, one of whom I believe he said is the son of the songwriter for "Fever", because the young man sang it. Sounded very Kip Blackshire-ish. From a musician's standpoint, I was just awed at how spontaneous some of the show was--calling out different keys and stuff. I took my dad, who's about to turn 83, and he danced his butt off! Slave2daGroove was there, too--he can probably add some better insights! [Edited 6/27/08 17:01pm]
