falloff Oh.my. That was the funniest shit I've read in ages. lol Why do his knees hurt??? chatterbox I didn't know walking around on a stage caused that much damage. disbelief

That's a good start on the list of things I'd call him but woefully incomplete. deal

I know why he said this:

The way Kanye dresses and his whole image is kinda a turnoff to alot of hip hop fans. They say he's gay because he's into fashion and that he's not from the hood. I saw alot of music fans root for Kanye but alot of hip hop fans in general root for 50 back in September.

In reality, the guy is pretty talented and unique. He's not cut from the same cloth as alot of his peers

I like him because his whole sense of style is similar to mine. This is something that I'd wear lol :

he looks like a fashion victim, he would make an excellent cameo on AbFab if they still produced that show.

LMAO, I think it's the glasses more than the suspenders. NO ONE can rock those and look cool, LOL. 'Cept maybe Michael Caine.

Well like i said Kanye is this decades PUFFY and those who dont think so, you are not looking deep. The content of lyrics may be different, but lets be real, the flow, the gimmicks, the ego's, the clothing lines, the persona of being gods, its all the same, and now rants on a website, Hmmmm did Puffy do this a few years ago with his daily fucking Myspace videos and blogs, word to Kanye....Puffy is calling, he wants a %% for use of his tricks.

I just don't know what to make of him. just when I think he's a complete arrogant prick I see him on SNL pretending to be outraged because he didn't win the Nobel Prize for physics, or complaining about Lebron hosting the show over him "Give a brother a chance...give a SMALL brother a chance!!!" lol

I think maybe his tantrums are schtick

i like that he steals from kinda of avant garde hipster culture and recycles it into his own thing. the choice of artist for his most recent album cover, the daft punk nods, the crazy sci-fi road show, the geek-ass 80s new wave sunglasses, the han solo costumes. it's all derivative as can be, but he's the only hip-hop artist bothering to try for an image that's even just a little bit different - plus he actually dares to record up-tempo rap songs, which i thought was illegal in this day and age - so i have to give him a little bit of credit, even though i still think he's kinda irritating. i'd take his music over all that thuggy "UH! UH! UH!" crap anytime.

Kanye along with Pharrell and Lupe Fiasco were major contributors to the Hipster scene

i think there are artists to the left of kanye making good hip-hop, but of course nobody cares about them. and no, i don't count gnarls barkley - i'm glad they have a winning formula, but they're a walking iTunes ad. lol

IMO, Kanye West comes off as dorky and wanting to be "the smartest guy in the room." It's like someone took U.T.F.O.'s The Educated Rapper, made him a solo act this decade and gave him a self-centered attitude.

nod I know they're out there. I guess I'm too old and lazy to dig for them in the obscure bin. lol Dealing with Prince for the past 25 years wore my ass out. And not in a good way. confused
