Destiny's Child had four No. 1 singles and 11 top 10 hits on the Billboard R&B Singles charts. En Vogue had six No. 1 singles and eight top 10 singles, not including their collaboration on Salt N' Pepa's "Whatta Man" and "Free Your Mind," which went top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts but only No. 23 on the R&B charts. The only thing that is true is that Destiny's Child arguably has had even more exposure than En Vogue (which had quite a bit itself).

I can't think of another girl group that had the vocal skills and training that En Vogue has AND that made a concerted effort to give each girl the lead on some songs on EVERY album.

I mean, yeah the '60s Supremes was clouded around Diana but at least they had something of a group sound when they first started. You should check the Supremes during the seventies period AFTER Diana left.

The supremes are argubably the best ever but for the sake of this conversation DC has had more exposure thanks to daddy knowles but artistically and vocally i would say EnVogue was much better. They had the hits to back it up. Don't laugh at my funk

En Vogue: Hold On Lies Don't Go You Don't Have to Worry 'Bout a Thing Free Your Mind My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It) Giving Him Something He Can Feel Give It Up Turn It Loose Runaway Love Whatta Man Don't Let Go (Love) Whatever No Fool No More DC: No, No, No Say My Name Bills, Bills, Bills Survivor Emotion Bootylicious Lose My Breath Cater 2 U Check On It (oh, that was Beyonce but I've heard rumors this was really a DC track, lol..) I'll pick EV easily because: 1.) All the girls were allowed to sing their own leads 2.) They can all sing their asses off 3.) They mixed Supremes chic with Labelle funk with the dance moves of the Vandellas 4.) These girls had a cool theme song for "ROC", lol 5.) They made me laugh when they did their "A Different World" guest spot as nerds Yeah Kelly sang the second verse...BeYAWNcy just lip synced right over it.

I'd take all but Maxine over Beyoncé, particularly if she wanted to talk. Her speaking voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I agree. En Vogue had harmonies that reminded you of groups from the 50s and 60s. But, I'll take Cindy. She's always been my favorite (I think its her smile and body). When I met them (when the EV3 album came out), I was sooo nervous to meet her. She was sooo beautiful in person. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I think EnVogue was poorly managed?....all of that talent and just no direction. How could a group go from one of the biggest albums of 1992/1992 to breaking up? That doesn't make any sense at all. Im sure there were people telling Dawn that she was the star and should leave the group. Instead, what should have been done is let them finish EV3, promote it and piggy back on the success of Don't Let Go (Love) then do solo projects. Additionally, Terry never should have done a solo project during the height of their popularity. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
