Beth Gibbons has just released a solo album with Rustin Man called Out Of Season.

I spent an entire summer listening to their first album every evening.
I love Portishead. I think "It Could Be Sweet" is my favorite.

They're great !!!

I like them too, but I don't have Dummy, and people tell me that's their best cd.

One of my favorite groups. I think both of their albums are great.The live album was good but it seemed to be lacking. If you've seen the Roseland NYC show you know what I'm talking about.

BTW a new album is rumored to be released in 2003

Yes,I really like Portishead's music. Glad to know a new album is coming out next year. They are quite Different and Unique.

They're amazing... Beth's voice

I have Portishead's Dummy CD. Love it! Very unique and interesting. They make very dark, dark, music, so I can't listen to it over and over. The good thing, though, is that I never get tired of it precisely for that reason.

I have Dummy as well. I really love this CD -- Beth has an amazing voice.
