Stevie Wonder Announces Two New Albums
6.6.08 Link Stevie Wonder has announced the release of two new albums, ‘Gospel Inspired by Lula’ and ‘Through the Eyes of Wonder’. The former is set to be released later this year and is a tribute to his late mother, Lula May Hardaway, who passed away 2 years ago. The latter is Wonder’s take on what other people see. More details to follow.

Well, it's probably the best news since... whatever.
It would be sooo great if the gospel album would be released this year. imagien: BRAND NEW SW tracks?! but what about that other album? is it a kind of cover album??

Wow, that's great news! I'm looking forward to hearing this. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

WOW. It took nearly 10 years 2 put out 'A Time 2 Love', and now 2 new albums?
Nice titles, and nice concepts. "He's a musician's musician..."

they just sond like classic shelved albums you hear about consdiring Motown, that's probably likely, though they'll just keep pushing back the release date rather than outright cancelling them. I'm missing my best friend Yes it was Incredible There's no reason to pretend

again, do you think Through The Eyes Of Wonder is a cover version album? HIS vision of other people's songs?
Well, unreleased tracks would be the coolest option. It's great news...

Some of it may show up on one of these albums. I heard him mention on his show recently that "All I Do" was written in the 60s for Tammi Terrell to sing. She recorded it and so did Kim Weston, but neither were released. He said he recorded the song a few times before he finally came up with the version we hear today. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Well, unreleased tracks would be the coolest option. It's great news... I kind of hope he does a few covers. He really should release his version of Upside Down (like he did at the BET Awards....it was FIRE). I also enjoy hearing him do covers live on the air on Thursday mornings....it's amazing. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Its written in the blind bastard's well I hope u mean WILL. That kind of sux. I know Stevie is all about keeping the integrity of the original project and not altering it, but some outtakes would be nice (here and there). Besides, we don't know what Motown has in their vaults. If they have it, they can release it. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

What 1974 unreleased material is this?

i dont trust Stevie with "promises" after the 10+ delays of the last album. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

YES!!! I can't wait. I Love Stevie to death. Quite frankly, I'm getting tired of waiting on my boy MJ to release something. I'm sure these two albums are going to be great!
