DAYMN when will Roberta FLack record a new LP already?? I mean the last LP she did was in 95 which is "Roberta". I loved that LP by the way.

She Still Tours&Does Her thing.IMHO all the Neo Female Soul Singers are Based on Her Stylings as a Artist.it seems "Killing ME Softly" has been Covered or inspired a Great many of the Female Neo SOul Singers.Alicia Keys,Lauyren Hill among others are doing Her thing IMHO.but could She be properly placed in today's music Scene? unless Clive Davis or someone pulls a Santana behind Her Sadly no.SHe is Badd Badd but hardly gets Her Due. mistermaxxx | |

I love Roberta Flack.When I was a kid,my mother used to play her 1977 'Blue Lights In The Basement' album to death! It starts off with the great song "Why Don't You Move In With Me",then "The Closer I Get To You" with Donny Hathaway.That's a true classic!!
