O.K., I don't get it. He's mad because he didn't get to work with Stevie???? Or he did work with Stevie and they didn't like what he did? Or ?uestlove's disappointed because they wanted him to do drum programming? But what was his opinion of the tracks? I am corn-fused nuts

I think he meant he was mad for:

1.Music like that simply doesn't exist anymore. The crackhead thing was about you think it's gonna change and get better, but it keeps getting worse and you kinda accept it

2.He's also mad because he never got to collaborate with Stevie the way he wanted. He's one of the few legends who he wanted to work with and they wanted him to do drum programming, so it hurt his feelings

?uest is cool and all and he's one of the most talented guys out there, but he looks like he needs to bath lol

He's frustrated because he went into the studio with Stevie (and EW&F) and they apparently wanted a "modern" sound.Questlove is into old School techniques...real drums....a real "organic" 70s sound. He came up with some stuff for EW&F but Maurice White rejected it,saying it "sounds like 1975" disbelief In a way,I understand Questlove's frustration (although the one track he recorded with EW&F that was released,"Suppose You Like Me",sounds great to my ears).

So anyway...he hears these Stevie Wonder tracks from 1974 and he's probably thinking "THIS is the kinda stuff I wanna do with Stevie!! Let's create something that kicks ass like THESE tracks!" Stevie had something else in mind.
