Taylor Dayne pleads no contest to reckless driving

17 June 2008
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.
Taylor Dayne has pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge in connection with her March 6 arrest.

Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Richard Stone ordered the entertainer to serve two years' probation and complete a Mothers Against Drunk Driving program, district attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.

Dayne wasn't present in court Monday and her attorney entered the plea on her behalf.

The singer had been charged with driving under the influence, but prosecutors decided the reckless driving charge was more appropriate, Gibbons said.

Best known for her 1987 hit, "Tell It to My Heart," Dayne launched a comeback in 2005 that was chronicled on the VH1 series "Remaking: Taylor Dayne."

eek

Just think 20 years ago she was singing "Don't Rush Me!"

Maybe Dionne and her "psy friends" were giving her a clue.

Did she crash her car? Her face looks jacked in that picture. Swollen lips and all.
