What's in your opinion the best Pink Floyd album? For me it's Wish you were were.

It's a melancholia fulled masterpiece. Id have to agree, im not crazy about Floyd but do respect alot of what they have done. Wish You were here is amazing, and recently hearing the story behind the title track being all about Syd Barrett. The best and my favorite may be two different things.
My favorite is The Wall, The best I would want to say may be one of their live albums. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |

Great album. I don't know if I have an opinion for best Floyd album, but Wish You Were Here (the song) has transcended their own genre over time...it's not prog-rock; it's not necessarily 'trippy'.
As for a favorite...I'm nostalgically connected to The Final Cut. Talk about melancholy! | |

HUGE Pink Floyd fan here. It's a toss between Dark Side and The Wall. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

"Dark Side" is probably their best. It's a note-perfect album. "Pulse" is probably the one I listen to most often though, and "The Wall." | |

Probably Animals, but a tough choice.
