Esbjorn Svensson - R.I.P. So, I was recently introduced to this phenomenal group's music, only to learn that the leader, Esbjorn Svensson, was killed in a scuba diving accident this week. Just tragic.

Very sad!!! 
I've seen him lot's of times in different jamcollaborations over the years. A fantastic pianoplayer who always gave everything in whatever he played.Jazz,soul,funk,swedish folk. I've also met him a few times and he was always very down to earth and supernice. He played with "everybody" but recieved a reputation in the jazzworld outside Sweden thru his trio "EST". /peace Manki | |
