You haven`t heard Whitney`s version? Yes, I have. But, you expected that from her. She did nothing new to the song. Marvin, made this his own. Althought he recieved alot of flack for it, because it was not the "traditional interpretation". Marvin's version was really saying something. Was the rumor that Marvin was either going up or coming down from his " HIIGHS " while singing The National Anthem, therefore the cheesy drum machine backing him up made it sound more like a love song than a rally call?
