I've played with Carol Kaye and got complimented by Tommy Tedesco (R.I.P.). Tommy used to have an very insightful column in Guitar Player magazine called Studio Log Great story even though you've lost the bet.

Well U dawg...then I betcha U have good stories to tell. Hell, I knew session players were big in the day....still are...but I had no idea about how involved they actually were back then. ALL of Motown!! I loved Kaye's comment about how her session work on the Monkees albums nearly made her quit the biz - LOL. I guess so. I knew they were manufactured beats, but... | |
