The musician has held a number of secret talks with the band who will go on tour for the first time in 20 years in September.

And Jackson has agreed to collaborate with them as he attempts to reignite his music career after his acquittal for child abuse charges three years ago.

New Kids On The Block singer Donnie Wahlberg says, "It's very exciting. It's one big party and everyone wants to join us."

Exclusive: Michael Jackson comeback with New Kids On The Block
By Sarah Tetteh 10/07/2008

(What's this?)
Michael Jackson is set to make a comeback with golden oldie boyband New Kids On The Block.
The King of Pop had secret talks about the link-up with the band's stars at his home in Nevada last week.
New Kids singer Donny Wahlberg, 38, said: "It's very exciting. It's one big party and everyone wants to join us." The pop veterans announced the plan as they celebrated the launch of their first reunion tour in 20 years which starts in September.
New Kids were the original US boyband and sold 80 million records with hits including Hanging Tough and Right Stuff.

And they are just some of the artists collaborating with jackson, 49, as he attempts to revive his career following his acquittal three years ago of child abuse charges.
The Bad singer was due to release his much anticipated album this year to coincide with his 50th birthday.
But a source said: "He has been in the studio for months. He wants to create an amazing album and won't release anything until he is totally satisfied.
"He's a musical genius and record bosses want to leave him to develop his magic. It will be down to him when it is released."

Are you $@*$&!) kidding me?! Please tell me this is a joke.

What the hell is MJ thinking? #1, Michael doesn't need to be collaborating with these guys w/such minimal talent, not to mention the fact that they are beyond has beens. When's the last time they were actually relevant? #2, He shouldn't be collaborating with anyone with the name "kids" in the title. That is unless he wants to endure even more jokes about himself. This is sure to be a train wreck. Is he serious? How could he possibly think this could be good for his career?

Now I don't mind him so much working with Akon for a song or two, but NKOTB? No this is where I draw the line . I think I might officialy be turning in my fan card once and for all if this s*it happens lol .
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

I was really doubtful in the beginning, but when I read that "has held a number of secret talks with" -part I am now totally convinced this must be true.

Notice how each of these amazingly informational newsbits always mention the child molestation case. Even if they were just several lines long.

Joey McIntyre Denies NKOTB/Michael Jackson Collaboration

Rumors swirled that Michael Jackson was planning to revive his music career by teaming up with reformed boyband New Kids on the Block.

It was reported that the musician had held a number of secret talks with the band who will go on tour for the first time in 20 years in September.

And Jackson had supposedly agreed to collaborate with them as he attempts to reignite his music career after his acquittal for child abuse charges three years ago.

But New Kids On The Block singer Joe McIntyre said in an interview, "It's a complete rumor."
"We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

What the hell is that?
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
