Harlepolis

Raynoma and Martha are still holding on to their grudges like a mofo lol Ranoma sounds petty as a useless housewife who acts like she got her hands full when in fact, the Gordy women(Anna, Gwen and the rest of them) are the ones who REALLY helped Berry run his dynasty.

But I still believe the one who REALLY ran the Motown establishment quite sincerely after the move to LA was Suzanne De Passe nod now THATS a woman I'm intrested to hear her side of the story.

Timmy, I swear I need to subscribe to your blog (j/k)...you have the most interesting stories. I would have loved to see this played out on film if they had taken the "DreamGirls" just a little further and included that particular part in the film..I bet it would have been hilarious to see it on screen. [Edited 6/22/08 4:35am]
lol I've always loved the Motown music of The Supremes when Diana was with them.

It does amaze me in reading the MOTOWN things, that people are doubting that things like this went on, and that things like this go on now. People doubt the power of Matthew Knowles at Sony to get release dates of certain OTHER rb ladies bumped back or shelved, in favor of his daughter. Its not far off from what was going in the Berry Gordy days, and the favoritism of one group over another.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
