David Naughton - "Makin' It"

Anyone remember this hunk o' cheese from David "Dr Pepper" Naughton? Catchy crap. Those handclaps get stuck in my head. Too bad this wasn't playing in the background when he turned into a werewolf

Oh, God:

I loved, loved, loved, this song. I lost my 12 year old mind when I heard it.

Like all teenagers, I could take a song and play it until the grooves wore off the lp.

(Now I'm *really* dating myself)

Anyway, despite the pure rip-off from Saturday Night Fever ("Tony Manuchi"), it was a fun song.

*clap*clap*

i loved this song. Was the song based around the televesion show, or did they base the show around the song. I cant remember which was first.

It was the theme song to the show. I think... LOL. Both came at the same time or the tv show came slightly first.

Another one that plays a lot on the disco station (actually, maybe not as much anymore but still hear it every so often). I think the TV show was based on "Saturday Night Fever" (or just blatantly stole from it. I remember hearing about this one on one of those VH1 type shows (maybe one hit wonders or "Where Are They Now?"...maybe both). Was this on an album?

"Don't Let Go" from Issac Hayes is maybe one of the best disco tracks ever but it never gets its due. I remeber there was a double disc hits set released from Issac a few years back even though most labels now of days work together when making these sets, this one was not included, even though it's awesome!
