No plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce

Madonna's spokeswoman has released an exclusive statement to PEOPLE rejecting reports that the singer's marriage to her film director husband Guy Ritchie is on the rocks.

"Madonna's husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family,not in a last-ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving," Liz Rosenberg told PEOPLE."There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."

Rosenberg also denied a published report of a relationship between the singer and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez."Madonna and Alex have the same manager,Guy Oseary," Rosenberg says."They have met.They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week.There's really not anything to comment on beyond that." Adds Rosenberg: "It's nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna's way lately-much of it untrue." She joked: "By the way,rumors of Madonna and Lil Wayne are quite exaggerated,as well".


I did find it odd and questionable that Madonna and Guy would divorce right before she begins a world tour and only a few weeks after the adoption of David was finalized.That's why I didn't really believe these latest rumors.

Her brother Christopher (the one who danced with her during the early promo gigs and was stage designer and choreographer for BAT) wrote a book about his sister.
They're relationship seems to be bad now, I guess?

I wonder if its true she’s sideswiping with Alex Rodriguez?

Not saying it's true or not, but just because someone initiates the process doesn't mean it's going to happen right away. It could take years. Reese Witherspoon's divorce JUST became final this week and she's been dating Jake for a year or two. So that doesn't mean anything. As for Madonna, I'd still take the publicist's statement with a boatload of salt cuz 9 times outta 10 where there's smoke there's fire IMO.

I also heard that Guy has quit Kabbalah,which could complicate matters But that's no reason they have to split.Marriage is all about compromise.

Madonna breaks silence to deny rumors of divorce, affair

Madonna broke her silence today over rumors of an affair with Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez, insisting the two are not "romantically involved in any way."

In a statement to PEOPLE magazine, the Material Girl also said she is "not planning" to divorce Guy Ritchie, her hubby of seven years.

"My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce," Madonna, 49, said in the statement. "I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game.

"I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study," the statement reads.

The future Hall of Famer dropped a marital bombshell on wife Cynthia three weeks after she gave birth to their second daughter, announcing their marriage was over, she has told friends.

Rodriguez, 32, has been spotted making late-night visits to Madonna's West Side home - meetings Cynthia is telling friends have left her husband brainwashed by kabbala.

The estranged couple has two children, 3-month-old Ella and 3-year-old Natasha.
Cynthia Rodriguez, who has said she still loves her husband, remained in Paris today at singer Lenny Kravitz's mansion.

Until today pop icon Madonna had addressed the talk of an affair only through her top agent, who has also denied that Madonna and Guy Ritchie were divorcing.

Madonna also used the statement to address past rumors about her personal life and took a swat at the news media.

"I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously. I also appreciate how fiction and fact seem to be perceived as one and the same by people who read both newspapers and the Internet," she said.

Looks like the plot sickens. . . now they got Lenny Kravitz all up in that drama. I swear, celebs are sooooo nasty when it comes to switching partners, considering that Madonna used to fuck Lenny too, IF it's true.

I do believe there is some truth to this so-called rumor. Madonna is nothing but trash. All she knows how to do is snatch up someone elses man...just like she did Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz. Another twist to this story: Madonna,Alex and Lenny all have the same manager: Guy Oseary.He appears with Madonna everywhere,leading some to believe that HE is actually the one having an affair with Madonna...lol...did she trade one "Guy" for another "Guy"?

Guy met Madonna when he was 19 and working for Freddy DeMan. He than was the AnR guy for Maverick and eventally made a partner. When Maverick was sold to Warner, he stayed with it until Madonna asked him to be his manager. oh and he's gay so i don't he and Madge have a fling.

When he played for the Rangers, me and some girlfriends actually met him at a restaurant one night and he took us back to his apartment to hang out. He was sooooo nice and down to Earth. He liked us cuz we kept it real and was shit talking all night. And we weren't trynta fuck him even though he's absolutely gorgeous. I dunno I never thought Guy was Madge's type, a lil too whitebread considering her past men.
