"Devil Wouldn't Recognize You" could be one of the highlights of the show. It's a powerful, haunting song that will translate very well in a live setting. It should be part of the "serious" segment of the show....maybe performed right after or just before a song like "Like A Prayer".

intitally i hated spanish lesson, devil, and voices. honestly, now i really enjoy the entire cd. she could perform all of the new material and i wouldn't be disappointed at all. (so long as she keeps like a prayer and vogue in the list, lol)

Everyone who doesn't want "Spanish Lesson" performed...

talk to the hand

One day it'll hit you. Maybe the fact that it's the closest thing on "HC" to a traditional Pharrell production is throwing people off. Unlike some of the other tracks, it sounds like something Madonna didn't have to force out of him.

I will be SORELY disappointed if it's not performed.

I have no problem with Pharrell's traditional production in "Spanish Lesson". Just those damn lyrics in the verses, I think they are too bad and embarrassing to be performed on a great Madonna show.

When I listen to the CD,I usually stop after "Dance 2Night" lol To me,the album begins to sag after that song.I really think that Madonna should have shelved the last three songs ("Devil" could have been saved for a future project).Instead, she should have closed the album with three kickass uptempo jams....to keep the party vibe going. She should have let Timbaland come up with three more funky jams, instead of wasting his talents on mellow,laid-back stuff like "Devil" and "Voices".

This is the latest SPOILER from Madonnatribe. It contradicts Drownedmadonna, which isnt a surprise as the two are always bitching it out with each other. How much you believe is up to you - im more confused than ever now.

Ok here we go!! Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour opens with Candy Shop (very similar to the promo tour version) followed by a version of Beat Goes On very similar to the album version. Both Pharrell Williams and Kanye West will appear on video during the song. The third song in the setlist is the first GREAT surprise. It's the one and only Human Nature, from Bedtime Stories (and we'll not be sorry!!). The song will be presented in an original and UNIQUE way, but that's a surprise we don't want to spoil for the moment. We're sure the inclusion of this song will make lots of people very happy.

Section two of the show includes Into The Groove, a great number where she will be jumping rope with a little sample of the song "Jump" thrown in as well, followed by Heartbeat. The Fedde Le Grande version of Music, (just like the promo tour version) and She's Not Me follow.

The following section will opens with the song Devil Would Recognize You, Madonna will sing it live and play the piano onstage HERSELF for the very first time! After that we go into Miles Away, just like the promo tour, and a joyful version Spanish Lesson. Her great classic from True Blue arrives next: It's La Isla Bonita that will be presented in its "Live Earth incarnation", the Lela Pala Tute version!!! This third section is closed by one of the songs by Madonna that won an Oscar. It's the touching "You Must Love Me", the beautiful ballad from Evita, written by Tim Rice and Andrew Loydd Webber especially for Madonna in the film. This version is more or less very similar to its original form.

The closing section of the tour includes the promo tour version of 4 Minutes followed by one of the greatest surprises fans will adore: Impressive Instant from the "Music" album!! Ray of Light follows. It's basically the album version with some changes in the middle. The promo tour version of Hung Up is next. The tour closes with the latest single from Hard Candy, Give It 2 Me

But that's not all folks! Madonna is also doing a great classic for her first album and she's doing it for the first time since the Virgin Tour. It's "Borderline" that will be presented like it has never been heard before and don't forget to look out for the great tour videos that will be directed by Steven Klein, as previously reported by MadonnaTribe!!

so to recap, this is what Madonnatribe's partial setlist looks like:

Candy Shop
Beat Goes On
Human Nature
Borderline (they don't say where this song appears on the setlist...let's assume it will be here in the first segement)

Into The Groove
Heartbeat
Music
She's Not Me

Devil Wouldn't Recognize You
Miles Away
Spanish Lesson
La Isla Bonita
You Must Love Me

4 Minutes
Impressive Instant
Ray Of Light
Hung Up
Give It To Me

I'm sure there will be several other songs too, this setlist looks incomplete. But it's exciting, isnt' it? lol

Im not feeling it much to be honest. Sections one and two sound cool. I think Open Your Heart could slot into the first nicely (at least I hope), and Vogue could slot into the second section (which i think should actually be the third section). So its all good to this point.

Spanish Lesson Im fine with - but a performance of LIB highly similar to one shes given before - that doesnt make sense. Then following that with YMLM?!?!? I feel Buenos Aires & Whos That Girl would be far better choices for this segment.

Segment 4 i hate most. 4 minutes should, IMO come earlier in the show. Impressive Instant wasnt so impressive on the DWT, and i dont think it will be ehre either. Ray Of Light.....album version....again....that might send me for the exits. Hung Up Rock version....this definitely will.
Give it to me as the encore....hmmm it could work - but i cant see it. Again this feels like it should come earlier - maybe the first segment.

More new info from MadonnaTribe:

"Voices" was considered for one of the video interludes, but shelved at an early stage of rehearsals.

"Like a Prayer" and "Express Yourself" weren't even considered..

Furthermore, from the hints given by the Tribe staff, I would assume that "Vogue" is in!

Woman is crazy completely ignoring 2 of her best songs. I know she's only doing it to keep us wanting more. Shes got that big lucrative LiveNation contract to fulfill - she knows she cant give us everything in one show until its her last. Aaargh.

There is always the possibility this is all made up nonsense and part of the spoiler-off currently raging between Madonnatribe & Drownedmadonna. I trust the latter more - but the tribe does tend to get some good exclusives too.

"Borderline" & "Impressive Instant" are the most exciting!!!

The setlist is quite similar to the CT one, really.

There's nothing from Like A Prayer, but there are still 1 song from both Erotica & American Life to be included. Maybe they are going to be the video interludes, if "Voices" is indeed out.

Yeah she likes to do something from each era/record. Deeper & Deeper, Rain, Hollywood would all improve that setlist for me.

Act 1 looks promising, especially if "Borderline" is inserted at the end of it.When this segment ends, this would be a good place to insert an instrumental/remix version of "Incredible",with the dancers doing a frenzied routine to it (while Madonna is off-stage changing clothes).

Spanish Lesson Im fine with - but a performance of LIB highly similar to one shes given before - that doesnt make sense. Then following that with YMLM?!?!? I feel Buenos Aires & Whos That Girl would be far better choices for this segment.

I'm excited about hearing "You Must Love Me" lol I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I have a bad feeling that it will get dropped from the setlist.

I like where "4 Minutes" is at.I think it will work best as the first song of the final segment."Impressive Instant" is a surprising choice, and I'm thrilled.I agree with you about "ROL"....can't see why she wants to drag that one out again."Give It To Me" is a good choice for the final song.As for "Like A Prayer"...I'm betting that at least three more songs will be added. This setlist seems like a work in progress. If this setlist is legit,"Like A Prayer","Secret" and "Everybody" will probably be added (my prediction).

Although I'm not too fond of this song,I think it would have worked well as a video interlude....to take us into the third,"serious" segment of the show.

"Like a Prayer" and "Express Yourself" weren't even considered

What's wrong with her??!! disbelief Does she have something against these songs?

Furthermore, from the hints given by the Tribe staff, I would assume that "Vogue" is in!

"Vogue" is a great song and one of her classics but "Like A Prayer" and "Express Yourself" are superior songs, imo.I can't see why all three songs can't be performed.

Woman is crazy completely ignoring 2 of her best songs. I know she's only doing it to keep us wanting more. Shes got that big lucrative LiveNation contract to fulfill - she knows she cant give us everything in one show until its her last. Aaargh.

Considering that fans are paying up to $350 to see her, there's no excuse for her to leave out some of her biggest, most important songs!

There is always the possibility this is all made up nonsense and part of the spoiler-off currently raging between Madonnatribe & Drownedmadonna. I trust the latter more - but the tribe does tend to get some good exclusives too.

OK based on this new setlist this is how ideally id like to see it changed:

Candy Shop
Beat Goes On
Human Nature
Open Your Heart

Borderline
Into The Groove-Jump
Vogue
Music
She's Not Me-Ring My Bell

Devil Wouldnt Recognise You
Miles Away
Spanish Lesson-Who's That Girl
Buenos Aires
Secret

4 Minutes
Deeper & Deeper
Dress You Up (dance version)
Hung Up (dance version)
Give It To Me

I can actually hear the seuges from Spanish lesson into WTG, and 4 Minutes into Deeper & Deeper in my head. The second section should just be one big homage to early 80's new york - and the third segment a big latin dance affair. The last segment should be another huge camp dance fest, ala confessions, as lets face it - this is the way most of her fans want her to sign off. Relentless fun.

I don't think she has anything against "Like A Prayer" & "Express Yourself", they were on RIT. I guess she couldn't really find a way to reinvent them this time. And generally the Like A Prayer album doesn't really fit with the COADF/HC mood, it was more in line with American Life.

I want her to perform True Blue. I've always loved that song. Has she ever performed it on tour? I know this is her bastard child of a single, considering it's about Sean Penn, but it was an international smash.

I really love True Blue's melody - one of her best. Its just a shame its such a gimmicky song. Because of that though, i think its a perfect song to be reqorked. A melody that good could work in lots of different ways. I think its more likely that its the Sean Penn connection that puts her off it.

What a mess.

"You Must Love Me?" Really? I have to hear her painfully reach for those notes like the Oscars when I was in high school? And she's wasting a whole number on that but not doing "Burning Up" or anything from "Erotica?" I'm glad I bought shit seats this time around.

I hope that's not the real set list. I don't like it all. The songs from Hard Candy are fine. But the older songs are mostly songs she has done too many times before (Ray of Light, La Isla Bonita, Music) or are ones that aren't that well known or memorable (Human Nature, You Must Love Me, Impressive Instant).
I'm not saying it might all come together with the themes and costuems she's is using since a Madonna show is more than just singing a bunch of songs, but on paper it sounds really terrible.

"True Blue" is a great song, and so is "Cherish".It would be cool if she could perform both of these songs in a medley with her backup singers.....do it girl group-style,similar to "Rain" on the Girlie Show. That's what's missing from her recent tours....simple,fun moments like that.
