It's only the UK, where none of the dates sold out yet, not even the opening night, so that's where the setlist could backfire...

Madonna enjoys doing this....re-inventing the old songs,giving them new arrangements and new meaning.I think she sees it as a challenge....to come up with new and exciting ways to present old songs that everyone is familiar with.Did you ever see the silly,outrageous,campy,over-the-top performance of "Like A Virgin" on the Girlie Show? LOL.

Girlie Show was before my time as a Madonna fan. But yeah, re-inventing old classics is one of the best things she does. And if she turned her tours into Greatest Hits tours, I'm afraid I might lose interest altogether. I'm sure she won't though, because what she is doing is really what she wants to do, and that's why her shows are so great.

I used to think that, but now I think it's terribly dated. The first segment is simply boring, with "Rain" being ruined with bad vocals and the remix version, and the second part is so irrelevant after we got a much better disco section on The Confessions Tour. "Like A Virgin" & "Justify My Love" are amazing though, also "Bye Bye Baby", "La Isla Bonita" & "Holiday" are quite good as well.

I still think 'The Girlie Show' is my favorite Madonna tour but I have to admit,'The Confessions Tour' kicked my ass.That show was brilliant!! Somehow,I don't think the upcoming tour will top it but we'll see.

She's Not Me - What would really rock is if she brought Wendy Melvoin on tour with her. That would be excellent.

Hung Up - URGH. Please don't. Do "Sorry" instead. Hung Up is a hit, but again...way over played. Way commercialized.

**I heard that "Ray Of Light" might be getting done. That would be a super big mistake. The song has been run into the ground and it's not that great live. I don't understand her affection for that song when she has way better in her catalogue. Everytime I've seen it live the crowd just stands there.

Ray Of Light needs a rest! I didn't understand why she picked that video to air during her stop at BET's 106 & Park either.

I agree,"Ray Of Light" needs a break.She recently said that it's her favorite song But I've had enough of it.She has many other neglected songs that she could do instead.
