Well, there was more to it than that. The performance of it, the song she sang, the lighting, the message about African children with AIDS and the pacing. The whole thing really worked for me. I thought it was moving, beautiful and spiritual.

No Donna De Lory this time
The buzz about Madonna's new tour is about to begin. We hear it is confirmed that longtime Madonna vocalist Donna De Lory will not be part of the Sticky and Sweet Tour.We wish her all the best and good luck with her own shows this summer. The amazing Nikki Richards is back on board on a Madonna tour for the second time and a new female vocalist also joined the clan.We still don't know her name yet but heard she was supposedly working with Britney Spears on some tour in the past. As for the tour, musically it is very 80s mixed with hip-hop,a kind of bizarre mixture that somehow works really well and we are told to really expect lots of surprises and some songs that we thought Madonna would never perform again. Thanks! I tried to include some songs that she doesn't normally perform. It would be great to hear stuff like "Dress You Up" and "Causing A Commotion"....fun songs that I remember hearing alot in the 80s.

I know I could easily see Madge again and again. George Michael....were his tickets expensive too? Yes, the top price for his tickets is $250. I've heard his shows aren't selling that well. He hasn't been constantly putting out albums like Madonna has in the U.S so I guess there's less interest. Everyone tells me he's a great performer, so I went ahead and bought tickets to see him. I haven't really followed his post-Wham career that closely, but I love his voice. No matter how much I like an artist, I tend to just go see their show once. I guess I bore easily, I don't need to see the same thing over and over. If I want to see it again, I just wait until they release a DVD.

Girl from Ipanema...what a joke!
FAKE as my interest for women!

Yeah it's probably fake
But I wouldn't be surprised if "Heartbeat" is the opening number.I remember when the Confessions tour was being planned, most of us assumed that "Get Together" would open the show. She surprised us by doing "Future Lovers/I Feel Love" instead.Maybe this time she will do the same....open the show with a less "obvious" song?

The webmaster of MTribe said it's fake and "Open Your Heart" & "Rescue Me" weren't rehearsed at all.
I really hope we don't get a Spanish section yet again, though it seems she's doing "La Isla Bonita" from True Blue again. "Heartbeat" would be a weak opener in my opinion, would be easily the worst, together with "Erotica" on TGS.

That's good to hear.I'm not that crazy about either of those songs. I really hope we don't get a Spanish section yet again, though it seems she's doing "La Isla Bonita" from True Blue again.
I like "La Isla Bonita" but I could do without it this time around. And if she does "Spanish Lesson",that's when I will probably take a bathroom break, lol. "Heartbeat" would be a weak opener in my opinion, would be easily the worst, together with "Erotica" on TGS.
I wouldn't mind if "Heartbeat" was the opener, even though "Candy Shop" would work better.

I heard that Robyn will be the opening act on some of the Sticky and Sweet shows.I guess she's some European female singer?

That's good to hear.I'm not that crazy about either of those songs. I think "Open Your Heart" would have been nice, it's one of her bigger hits, was included on TIC and she hasn't performed it since 1990. It's a fan favourite as well, so many would have been glad to see it. Yes "Candy Shop" is obviously the opener. It wouldn't fit anywhere else actually. "Heartbeat" can be left out. Robyn is a Swedish singer indeed, she had a few minor hits and a big one in the last year or so. The funny thing is, in a recent interview she said she would never work with Madonna because she works with musicians, not celebrities. I guess sharing the stage doesn't count, eh?

I've decided that I'm going to wait to buy tickets to see what her setlist is. If she throws enough of my wishlist into it, I'll try and get Philly tix. Otherwise, I'll just wait for the DVD.
I want to see: Borderline Open Your Heart Who's That Girl Like a Prayer Cherish Justify My Love Rain Take a Bow Nothing Really Matters Get Together. That setlist that was posted a little ways back would've been perfect. I definitely would've thrown down for tix to that show... We'll see, I guess. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.
