On the ICON messageboard, this is the latest rumored setlist that everyone is talking about. The "insider" who posted it claims that this is the final setlist that is now being rehearsed:

Intro: "Candy Girl" by New Edition
Candy Shop
Beat Goes On
Human Nature (with a sample of Britney's "Gimme More")
Vogue
Everybody

Video Interlude: Die Another Day
Into The Groove (with a sample of "Jump")
Heartbeat
Borderline/Dress You Up
She's Not Me
Music

Interlude
Devil (acoustic piano)
Miles Away (acoustic guitar)
Like A Prayer
True Blue

Interlude: Rain
Spanish Lesson
You Must Love Me
Buenos Aires/La Isla Bonita
Angel

Interlude: Secret (a new mix)
Holiday (a very brief version that leads into the next song)
4 Minutes
Impressive Instant
Ray Of Light
Hung Up
Give It To Me

hmmm I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that this news is mostly true. It's consistent with most of the other rumors we've been hearing from Madonnatribe.

Looks like wishful thinking to me. I though Like A Prayer was replacing Impressive Instant? Also didnt they say Give It 2 Me would be a video interlude as a remix? True Blue!!! Well id love it, but that aint gonna happen. Just aint.

I would be satisfied if this is the real setlist. It's basically the same setlist that we've been hearing about for weeks now,but with a few additions. If she took out "ROL" and replaced it with "Express Yourself",it would be nearly perfect.

That would be awesome if that is indeed the setlist. It sounds like she is listening to people who want to hear more Madonna classic songs. I cannot wait to hear Vogue, Everybody, Into the Groove, Borderline, Dress You Up and Like A Prayer. I agree with the last post. She sould replace Ray of Light with Express Yourself and replace La Isla Bonita for Who's That Girl. Also, perform Holiday in its entirety. That would be a perfect set list!!

it's teh first time i can't wait for it. I only have the phases in which I like artists. Then it could last a year in which I don't listen to a single note. The last two times it was that way with Madonna. I had no Madonna phase during RIT and CT. But NOW I can't wait!

I'm the opposite. I was really into her during RIT and CT. I couldn't get enough. I saw RIT twice and Confessions three times. I can't get too excited about this new tour. HC is her first album that I really don't like and hardly listen to. I have a ticket for the new tour but I'm not too excited about it. Maybe she will pull something amazing. But she looks and sounds so tired these days. She has toured so much the last couple of years. I think she needs a rest and to get some new inspiration. Everthing I've heard about this tour sounds boring. I read she had some girls dressing up as her for She's Not Me. Could she be more literal and uncreative? I really wish she would cut back on the HC songs and do some other stuff. But I'm sure she won't.

NOOOOO!!!!! Why can't it be real????
Angel was rumored to be rehearsed and that it would work out if Madonna liked the live version. DID SHE?????

and dress you up was mentioned in the early stages and maybe just maybe it could be in there after all

True blue is a surprise but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it happened

and secret??? sure it's just an interlude but human nature and secret were the same two bedtime stories songs done on DWT. how about take a bow????? with one BS song so far they really gotta throw in take a bow. it could be just like CT drowned world/SFL style with nothing. just chill and stripped down elegance and a break for her on stage. just like after let it will be on CT. drowned world was a nice slow treat. TAKE A BOW would be a HELLUVA NEVER-PERFORMED TREAT!

overall it's good and it could be real

again.....let's wait and see

Well it seems all the rumours about "Angel", "Dress You Up", "True Blue" were simply just that, rumours. I agree with you that "Take A Bow" should be there, but it seems Madonna doesn't want to sing it, maybe vocally too demanding or something...

Didnt she mention something about not performing Take a Bow or the power of goodbye because she doesnt want people to feel like its the end of her touring? she'l save them for her final tour i guess.

Variety Article
Thursday,July 31

After setting the standard for pop multihyphenates 25 years ago,Madonna continues to break the mold as she nears the half-century point.

Last fall she parted ways with Warner Bros.,the label that launched her,and transferred her entire music franchise to Live Nation, her concert promoter,in a lucrative deal that was the first of its kind.In a 10-year pact worth $120 million,Live Nation would not only continue to handle Madge's tours, but her albums as well.

Or as she sings so aptly on her new album 'Hard Candy',"I'll be your one stop Candy Shop".Since linking up with Madonna,Live Nation has made $400 million from her performances and has already sold out more than 90% of this year's Sticky and Sweet tour.

A style icon, the erstwhile Material Girl also continues to catch her critics and fans off guard. For example,a recent New York Times piece knocked the singer for not touting a "breakout Madonna look" in her public appearances nor on her album cover where she dons a leather "American Gladiator" get-up.

No matter. With 'Hard Candy',Madonna secured her seventh No.1 album, with a first week sales figure of 280,000 copies.Featuring collaborations with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland,"Candy" has Madonna's standard urban disco sound laced with hip-hop flourishes.Reviews have been positive, with the Times exclaiming that "Candy is devoted to the instant gratification of a musical sweet tooth."

On the opposite side of the Madonna franchise lies her recent film credits as a producer with the Malawi AIDS documentary "I Am Because We Are" and her directorial debut on "Filth And Wisdom",about the fringe lives of three London flatmates."Filth" has yet to find a U.S. distributor however, while "I Am" will receive a run on the Sundance channel.

Age hasn't fazed Madonna,it's only made her more determined.Columnist Liz Smith recently witnessed the singer's stamina during a dance rehearsal for the "Sticky" tour: "Watching this star go through her paces, she seems not to have a care in the world," says Smith,"except to perfect her show".

Career mantra: "My career mantra and personal mantra are the same: Don't let anyone tell you your dreams can't come true".

Yes, that was said by an insider during the RIT. But now everyone knows Madonna is gonna tour for at least 10 years, she can easily sing the goodbye songs! biggrin

Since the S&S was more or less announced the same time with the release of HC, there were no new pix needed. However, she supposedly did a photoshoot with Tom Munro again (Elle mag, "GI2M" video) for the tourbook. For CT Madonna did the same type of photoshoot with Steven Klein for the tourbook which was used in W magazine as well and of course became the opening video for the tour.

I've loaded this setlist up in my Ipod - and i think its really solid. Loads of classics in there - the odd gem (having Borderline in the setlist excites me soooo much), and the majority of the new album - i dont see much room to complain - i think its better on paper than the Confessions set list. She never does perfect setlists (hell....does any artist?).

I just hope she doesnt strap on the guitar for ROL & Hung Up, I may start dry wretching on the spot.

Apparently there is one extra song being rehearsed in the 3rd section - a folk classic is how MTribe describe it, but wont say who its by or what song it is. Other than that we now have the full set list:

Cand Shop (with candy Girl intro)
Beat Goes On
Human Nature (with Peice of Me mash up)
Vogue (with 4 minutes & Promiscuous Girl smaples)

Die Another Day (Video)

Into The Groove
Hearbeat
Borderline
She's Not Me (Possibly with Ring My Bell sample)
Music (with Fedde Le Grande mash up)

Rain (Video - possibly smapling Here Comes The Rain Again)

Devil Wouldnt Recognise You
Spanish Lesson
Miles Away
La Isla Bonita (possibly with buenos Aires)
You Must Love Me

Give It 2 Me (Video Remix)

4 Minutes
Like A Prayer
Ray Of Light
Hung Up
Give It 2 Me

I can live with this setlist lol It's got 9 songs from the new album, plus three classic Madonna songs that I really want to hear on this tour ("Like A Prayer","Into The Groove","Borderline"),so I can't really complain. The last segment is gonna be EXPLOSIVE....everyone will be on their feet, losing their minds!

the "Give It To Me" maxi-single will be released here in the States on Tuesday...I just ordered my copy lol

Fedde Le Grand Remix
Oakenfold Extended Remix
Oakenfold Drums In Mix
Eddie Amador Club
Eddie Amador House Loves Mix
Tong and Spoon Remix
Jody den Broeder Club
Bongo Joe Mix

Has anyone heard any of these remixes yet? The fans are raving about them.I hope it's better than the "4 Minutes" remixes, which were nothing to write home about (except for the first remix on that maxi-single).
