It'll be my first time too...I'm so excited...he's one of my all time favorites.

I'll check in here to share my experience...no need to be jealous, just take in the beautiful human being that is Stevie...

Can't remember the set list in it's entirety but it was a little over 2 hours long. It started with some newer stuff from the unreleased albums and the energy from the crowd was a little low, coming into the second hour he just pulled song after song out. The thing that I loved was it wasn't in that cheesy, vegas song medley style but a stop and then into the next. Even if he didn't play the whole thing. He seemed to have an agenda and towards the end kind of rushed through 3 or 4 hits because he was a little late or something.

He's such a beautiful spirit and his daughter was singing back-up, so well done. Getting the crowd to sing parts of songs while he sang certain parts...just awesome.

Enjoy the show, the man has so many songs to pick from I doubt it'll be the same when he comes through EU.

Co-sign! It was a great show. I've heard from his trumpet player (who's from Detroit) that he often pulls songs out on the band the night of the show. He was certainly doing that at the Detroit show. He'd say, "O.K., tonight we're gonna do the song in the key of B!" Definitely keeps the band on their toes.
