Probably one of his best song is : To be invisible, along with Mother's son(one of my personal favorite).
The man was not just a singer but a poet and an underrated guitar player with his unique style.. There will never be another CM Peace bro!!!!!

Been listening to There's No Place Like America Today. I love the tone of that album. Really minimal and tight as hell.

You're welcome It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

The man was not just a singer but a poet and an underrated guitar player with his unique style.. There will never be another CM Peace bro!!!!! Curtis was very underrated as a guitarist. Played some beautiful chords and like I stated earlier, he had some of the best chord progressions and changes. Curtis's bridges were usually as strong as his hooks, if not stronger. His pretty melodic playing was an influence on Jimi as well. Him and Steve Cropper. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

"So In Love" "Blue Monday People" "When Seasons Change" What is it...do I detect a sitar, or is it just his wah-wah pedal... what is it. Yeah, this a great album too, but having grown up on his music..I dig and have a fill for them all.

Curtis' guitar playing influenced many, including Hendrix and Prince, and through his '60s work with the Impressions, he influenced many others, such as Bob Marley; the Wailers started out as a vocal group in the vein of the Impressions, with Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. Curtis' songs easily stand alongside the likes of contempories like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sly etc, and obviously albums like 'Superfly' and 'Curtis' are amazing achievements. I'm talking songs like 'Don't Worry, If There's a Hell Below' (his greatest track?), 'Pusherman', 'Superfly', 'Give Me Your Love', 'Ain't No Love Lost', 'Do do Wap is Strong in Here' and 'Hard Times'. A true great.

Curtis was a true original. I wish I'd have gone to see him when I had the chance back in the day.
