Saying that ANY singer under a certain age is the best singer alive is a stretch at best.

Ultimately, it's a bit of a silly statement. She once was a great singer and now she's H-addict barely managing to get through each day that either neeeds to get clean or she will die.

Apparently what you have listened to is years after the rest of us have, and you are not familaiar with her current state of voice in between nods, that being, she no longer HAS ONE.

The Amy Winehouse you hear on your cd is dead. At the moment she's not the best at singing anything. Be excited for the discovery you have made in what talent she used to have (and may hopefully re-capture),but don't overstate it. It's not going to do anything but cause a lot of needless friction up in here

I don’t even take this thread seriously. She is a fraction of what she was (which was not the best singer alive) but if they put a bow on it and market it right some people will buy into anything.
