Disc 2 reminds me of On The Radio: Greatest Hits but isn't the whole tracklist. Are those songs segued together?

It has some tracks that appeared in On The Radio: Greatest Hits, but no, the tracks are not segued.

I thought the segueing was the main feature of On The Radio Greatest Hits.

So they DIDN'T make a two-fer here lol Thanks for the reply smile

"Bad Girls" is my favorite Donna Summer album and one of my favorite albums of all time.

same here nod It's her masterpiece.I love every song on it except for one ("My Baby Understands".....that song annoys me for some reason, lol).

One of the most underrated songs is "One Night In A Lifetime" music I rarely ever hear anyone mention this song.

I always skip "My Baby Understands" also. Isn't that the one that starts with those opera notes? lol Other than that, I pretty much listen to the entire album. Sometimes I skip "All Through The Night" also.

Those 3 in the same order is what made me go hmmm to the deluxe disc. That's the side I played from my dad's copy of On The Radio GH.

Awhile back,on another forum,we were discussing this album and there was a mixed reaction. Some fans were complaining that the songs were "butchered",while some fans liked the way the tracks segue into each other.Personally,I like this album and the way the songs are presented.I especially like the way "Love To Love You Baby" blends into "Try Me,I Know We Can Make It".I also like the new music that Giorgio came up with for the "Hot Stuff/Bad Girls" segue.

My only complaint about this album? "Enough Is Enough" goes on forever! It's not even that great a song to begin with, and to have it go on for almost 12 minutes is just absurd.

Except on the Bad Girls deluxe edition they include the entire MacArthur Park suite. On Los Angeles radio, they played the hell out of that one!

I have mixed feelings on that one. I hate songs that are butchered or recordings that have been 'modified' for the purpose of creating a continous sequencing mix, but having grown up with this record it's a little strange to hear the tracks any other way.

The Bad Girls deluxe edition includes the 12 minute "Enough is Enough" too! Seriously...ENOUGH! wink
