your favorite 5 albums (by non-prince related artists)

Okay, just a quick survey...

Everyone list your 5 favorite albums of all time
by artists who have no direct connection with Prince.

Albums by artists that were recorded at Paisley Park
or were half written by Prince (under his own name or
a pseudomyn) are not allowed. Albums where Prince has
just contributed 1 song, or made a small guest
appearance can be allowed.

damn...you know how hard this is (I know you do!) smile

um...in no particular order...

"Love Hysteria" Peter Murphy

"Future Days" Can
"Greatest Hits" Louis Prima
"Revolver" The Beatles

This is off the top of my head...I know I've forgotten so many...

Let's see here... in chronological order:

1. David Bowie "Low"
2. Roxy Music "Avalon"
3. Philip Glass "Songs From The Trilogy"
4. Michael Jackson "Dangerous"
5. Bjork "Homogenic"

As always, this is not definitive.

Not easy, but these are some of my all-time favorites:

  • Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
  • Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
  • Led Zeppelin - II
  • Lenny Kravitz - Let Love Rule
  • Luther Vandross - The Night I Fell in Love

Damn, I wish there were newer releases that moved me as much as these classics.
