isn't that other version SUPPOSED to be a mockery? i don't understand, did people really think roseanne was going to bust out with this beautiful operatic voice and dazzle the world with her gossamer melisma? she was a comedian, of course she was going to sing off-key. if they thought it was in bad taste they shouldn't have selected her to sing.

Was the rumor that Marvin was either going up or coming down from his " HIIGHS " while singing The National Anthem, therefore the cheesy drum machine backing him up made it sound more like a love song than a rally call? It's sad to know that he was dead months later, what a shame that time was.
