this thread is funny as shit. I love how gay people stereotype themselves, jus so they can feel better about themselves. SHit is funny and sad.

JG is gay because he rolls his neck, and snaps his fingers when he talks, man i love how gays put themselves in the box as nuthin but femimine males. SAD

I'm a little bored with the "everybody's gay" theme that permeates the media (and especially the internet) these days because I don't know and don't care about Johnny Gill (or anybody else's sexual preference, unless I'm trying to get with 'em!). I love JG's voice and remember when he first started how everybody used to talk about how mature his voice was for a teenager! Nice memory on that video with him and Stacey Lattisaw!

I just read that new book "Hiding In Hip Hop" and Johnny was one of the obvious ones, as was Sisqo. The other ones was hard to decode

Also, that book reads more like fiction than anything else confused

Prince is gay nod[/quote]

Prince isn't gay. He gets beautiful ladies but he can't keep any of them.

He isn't gay. He's gay-ish. He is like that chick on Dallas.

Are you talking about Sue Ellen? I have always said that Prince looks like he could be her son. lol Look at Prince and Sue Ellen's eyes. Prince even had her face gestures like the way he would stare with those eyes and hold his lips a certain way sometimes.....

Here she is with those "Prince eyes" again.....

She was upset in that picture (it's her mug shot when she was arrested as a suspect for shooting J.R. lol ). Her mouth isn't like Prince's in that picture but they definately have the same eyes.

These two look a little similar also.....

Hi V,

Yes, that comes from your observation you made on a thread.

I looked at some Sue Ellen clips on You Tube and Prince either really studied her for dramatic effect or he is gay-ish.

To be fair to Prince he is a big fan of The Fonz too but it never gets discussed here.

I hate "Perfect Combination". When it comes to Johnny Gill, the best thing he has ever done is his very first single "Super Love". That one was a funky ass jam with explosions. "Rub You The Right Way" years later was good too, but that "My, My, My" shit, oh hell naw! lol

I bet you would like "Block Party".It's an uptempo jam from the 1984 album with Stacy.

Personally, I didn't like Johnny Gill until he joined New Edition and its success gave him an avenue to work with the likes of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and L.A. Reid and Babyface. My favorite JG songs (at least the ones on my playlist):

* "Rub You the Right Way" (the DJ Eddie F remix)
* "The Floor"
* "Slow and Sexy" (duet with Shabba Ranks)
* "Fairweather Friend" (radio remix)
* "Wrap My Body Tight" (original or the Jazzy B remix)
* "It's Your Body" (with Roger Troutman)
* "Giving My All to You"
* "Let's Just Run Away" (from "Mo' Money")
* "My, My, My"
* "Feels So Much Better"
* "I'm Still Waiting" (from "New Jack City")
* "Just Another Lonely Night"
* "Let's Get the Mood Right"
* "There U Go" (from "Boomerang")
* "Quiet Time to Play"
