I just listened to what is it about men. I read where shortrini stated that
amy is doing what none of the erykah badu's and jill scott's are doing.
Hell this song sounds exactly like some of the stuff they've done.
I have given her latest album a listen before and some of it comes like the
sound of motown's 60's girl groups. Well if you're a fan, you're a fan.
I'm just not moved by her music.

The only person that has come close to what Amy is doing would be Lauren, on her first CD. The other that have been mentioned do are not doing that sound. Jill isn't, Amel isn't nor are the rest of them. Now I know that what Amy is doing isn't new, but to me, it is better than what is being produced currently.

Amy aint the best female singer alive - but she's good. girl needs to sort herself though. she's given us two sterling albums, and i hope she delivers a third- but i doubt it sadly. hopefully she'll prove me wrong.
