Much as I like their performances on that episode I hate the fact that they kept Ernie's guitar turned down for the entire show! I wondered whether the show's producers were scared of guitars, 
... [Edited 5/28/08 18:21pm] It would have been cool for the show to truly let Ernie blast. Especially on his lead on Live It Up. The effect Ernie is using on his lead was/is so in your face. It was totally "Move the fuck out of the way". Totally way up in the mix Ernie's lead was louder than the vocals! It was no doubt where The Isleys were coming from. There has been talk from the folks who had put out the Eddie and Ernie "Lost Friends" album about putting out my dad's solo material. This song "Bullets Don't Have Eyes" would definately be included. Some of the songs that's on the Lost Friends album are actual recordings that my dad did as a solo artist. They just included it on the Eddie and Ernie album. Like the song "Standing At The Crossroads". I'm redoing that song and it's going to be included on my dad's compilation if that goes through by the folks at Ace Records. Remember the rumor that Jimi was actually playing the leads on That Lady? That was out for awhile. Ernie was calling Jimi's spirit in his playing so hard that a lot of folks were thinking it was Hendrix on the record. I think it had a lot to do with cuz people knew Jimi used to play with the Isleys. But that was the word about this song for a minute. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz.
