Whitney Houston's Monocco Performance (May 24, 2008)

I Will Always Love You

All At Once / You Give Good Love

Her voice is definitely clearer than it has been in years. Still a lot of talk-singing, though.

mm not sure what to make of this.
it seems to lack energy. a little bit like when i hear alanis morissette sing nowadays. she doenst sound like when she released jagged little pil.
and i dont know if its lack of power in her voice or lack of inspiration.
anyway im looking forward too her new album ( since i saw that demo R kelly wrote for her) and if thats the kind of music we will be getting im looking forward.
not another my love is your love ( when she hung out with the it producers of the moment)

Most people think My Love Is Your Love is her strongest album by far.

I'd much rather hear another MLIYL than a current R. Kelly track ill

confuse R.Kelly and Ne-Yo are producing tracks for her new album.I would argue that they are the "it" producers of the moment.

Bobby & Her Crack Use stole her best years!!!! She is over - just imagine if she stayed clean with her youth - beauty - talent after the 1992 Superbowl.

This is all to try to make a few dollars off this creepy looking lady.. yuck has she aged! She looks terrible.

Now she is just an old R&B nasty "diva".

Aging sucks huh - all that coke/crack use made her age 10 years more then her real age. Even with all that pancake makeup on

I'm glad she's at least going back 2 per4ming and recording again with a clear head. Yeah, she sounds slightly busted, but it's way better than anything we've heard from her during the late 90's on. I hope she makes a full recovery and can un-do all of the damage she caused 2 her instrument over the years.

"I Will Always Love You". Indulgent much? confused

confused I doubt it. I really like that album, but I'm confident that most people think her debut is her strongest album.

i think most people really want her to come back in a good way....this performance sounded alot better than she has for quite some time. I truly hope she comes back in a big way with some good material because few people can rival whitney when it comes to singing. Sure the performance is a little, meh, but shes a "singer" singer, youre going to her her sing not see a theatrical stage production. Im amazed actually that she hasn't done a Celine-esque Vegas stint yet - she could rake it in there.

Whitney sounds much better these days! This is such a vast improvement compared to other clips i've seen of her a few months ago.

Yeah i agree the arrangement was a little all over the place - but her delivery was better than it has been for some time - although nothing like as good as it was in the early 90's. At least she no longer has that hoarse crackpipe burn quality to her voice - theres clarity now.
