Dave Matthews Band - The Lillywhite Sessions I've known DMB for some years. My first exposure to them was with the Everyday album, which I purchased because I loved the madness that was "I did it".
So I downloaded today the remastered release of the Lillywhite Sessions...WOW! Excellent stuff. I love Bartender and Grey Street. The Jazzy feel of the songs is great. I reminds me sometimes of Sting's early sound (blue turtles era...).. I sense that the org doesn't dig DMB, cuz this must the first time I see a thread done about them.

I love "Grey Street," but my favorite on that album was always "JTR." I'm still mystified it was one of the few songs not to make it onto the eventual release, Busted Stuff. Scrapping the Lillywhite Sessions in favor of Everyday was the band's first real blunder IMO.

Ah, the days of Napster... There's a quasi-remastered version done by some sound dude. That's the one I got. It sounds like a released cd.
