I LOVE Mandrill!!! Their anthology is one of only two albums that I have ever bought based on the cover alone, having never heard a track. I saw it in a record store ten years ago and said who is this and why do they have an anthology. They looked hard so I bought it and have been IN LOVE with their dynamic, diverse sound ever since. Any band that can create songs like Fencewalk, Gilly Hines, Moroccan Nights, Echoes in My Mind, Cohelo and I Refuse to Smile is nothing short of phenomenal.
Btw The other album I bought sound unheard was Les Nubians Princess Nubiennes. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination... | |
