Is Gene Chandler: the most forgotten R&B/Soul singer ever?

Great '60s RnB and Soul, you never hear "The Duke of Earls" name brought up. But dude had hits from the begging of the sixties all the way until the '80s. Dude covered it all, from '60s R&B to late '60s-early '70s Soul to Funk and Disco. Show some respect.

Great thread though lol

I love 'Groovy Situation' fro
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Gene Chandler was scheduled to appear at one of our Super Oldies R&B concerts last year but for some reason,he was removed from the bill and replaced by Honey Cone.

Haha, like me, LBC is passionate about soul music. I don't blame you for being "scared". You should see my Mary Wells thread. lol It should be in page 2 or 3, lol.
