Z Cult Fave/Ben E. King "Supernatural Thing" This song by Ben E. King is hella cool. From 1975, "Supernatural Thing" is a cut that doesn't get a lot of hype. I think it's underrated, myself. But I've always dug it. I still have the 45 single. Who else digs it that doesn't mind posting? SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Yep,...many songs from 75 all had this.....thing about it. The mix had a lot to do with it. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I dig it, always have. That was a his first hit for Atlantic. I have most of his Atlantic years on vinyl. I've mentioned this cut in the past, and @times whenever Benny's name would pop up here. I've also talk about him with AWB on Benny & US, esp. A Star In The Ghetto , Get It Up For Love a time or two.. But I most definitely cut for this Benny song the guitar riff, the bass play, the bg singers, that tom beat on the 2and4... to Mon ears.

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm not fimiliar with King's work outside his early 60s stuff.

The interplay between those 2 guitar parts lock the track together. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

Guess it is a lot of people who mind posting. They don't mind "viewing" though.... SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

You notice that too huh? Man,...it's ALWAYS like that. I always get a grip of "views". Which I think is weird. I don't ever open up a thread that I have no interest in. But if the thread interest me, then I always post. But u know.... SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
