hmmm...

i love this song, definitely one of my faves of his (if not my very favorite). actually, its one of my favorite pop songs ever. that said, georgie just saved me a ton of money cuz i don't think he sounds nearly as good as he once did and i won't spend 160 bucks on his show now.

its pretty rad that he went on this show, though.

Give GM a break. He was sick and still sang as good or better than almost anybody
else on the planet. He could have canceled but he went out and gave his all. If you see him live you will probably be thinking how your so happy you didn't miss it.

Did anybody notice how excited George was about his performance? It wasn't evident at first but near the end you could see that his package had grown considerably. Check the footage.

George has done some excellent songs in the past, so I have nothing against him, but you guys are tripping. He was always an overrated singer, but over the last ten years his voice has gotten worse. His voice is really not all that great. He uses his instrument tastefully, but the instrument is limited. About a year ago he attempted a cover of Stevie's "Knocks Me Off My Feet". It was dull and lifeless due to his weak voice. I also saw footage of his Wembley gig. The stage set was impressive, but his performance was not good, although I think the flashy lights and larger than life set did the trick in conning the audience.

I WANNA C him so bad!!!

I liked his acoustic version of Praying FOr Time..but he was trying a little hard on the end. I liked how the "sun went doown on him" in the background.

That was moving.[

It was actually his hand movements that I thought made him seem drunk, especially in during the first half or so. They didn't really line up with the singing.... confused

are r u on crack???

our george might be old, but his live voice is simply amazing, perfect.

his live singing is like listening to the recording.
he is one of the few artists who sounds 100% perfect when singing live.

Calling George's voice weak is like saying Janet Jackson has a voice more powerful than Shirly Bassey.

Don't be so stupid.

Not even dirty old Uncle Michael jackson can sing live anymore.

At least our George is giving it all, despite being hounded by the american press over his sexuality.

Bunch of tossers, the yank press, the rest of the world still loves our George.

You go for it George, show these young American pretenders who is the real boss.

He is a flawless live singer and amazing songwriter - has been given props by Prince himself. His range perhaps is limited but he does what he does very very well. To say his voice is "not all that great" must be in your mind only. I am a schooled vocalist and have been for over 20 years, not all of his songs are easy to sing - he is a very feeling singer who takes pride in hitting those notes live just like on the recording. You can;t say that about too many people these days. We're lucky to have George Michael on this planet full of pretentious crap music.

I think George will be surprised by the hardcore fan excitement once the U.S. tour starts... The reception here will be similar to a Paul Weller or Sade show -- even though they don't chart in the U.S. anymore the true fans will wild-out and appreciate the rare performance all the more! CANT WAIT!!

Anyone who thinks his voice has faultered needs to check it out live. His voice is currently the best its been. The touring has really toned his sound. I saw a few of the shows and his voice was off hte scale it was so good.

I though he still sounded better than anyone on stage on AI, and the guy had a stinking cold!

The 25 live show is one of the best tickets money can buy at the moment.
