alphastreet

all I can say is WTF?

When I first heard Don't Cha, I immediately thought of Prince and Vanity, nothing original and never were.

Usually, I hate the Org hating on today's "artists" but seriously :

this thread is fucking hilarious!

First we have some industry slave rambling on about how 100% sure he is that the PCD are talented and "changed music". Excuse me while I drop to the floor laughing for the next hour. The pay cheque must be excellent.

Then people here are DEBATING it?!

People, there's no rhyme or reason with this group - they SUCK.

ONE of them sings main vocal while the others are just there to keep the male population interested since one hot girl on her own apparently isn't enough these days. Most people can't name any of the others and if you think singing one line per song is "letting the other girls sing!" then you're retarded.

Their songs are generic, BORING, and always about the same thing.

And, worst of all, they have the audacity to dress and act like strippers then call it EMPOWERING.

Yeah, I'll show them empowerment, when I punch them all in their cake faces for bringing women's lib back 50 years.

Skanks. (And I DON'T use that word lightly).

i think you need to calm down its wasnt that serious. you can't deny that sex sells and these girls are not role models by any and anyone that tries to attach some sort of social responsilbity to them are insecure. they are in the music business. sex sells. confidence sells. trying to capture the short attention spans of people is what they do well. they are direct and you know what to expect because the industry is so fickle. as an artist you cant have an album out and appear to not bring it or not "sell" it, visually and musically, because you may only have one chance at it. im not saying there music is good but you need to give them a little credit.
