i read that the judge said his 300 month sentence can be wiped clean if he paid a million dollars for each month: so if he pays the 300 million, he serves no time.

confused Seriously?

He's got that much money. "Bankrupt" for Louis J. Pearlman is still richer than a small country.

neutral

yea, sad isn't it.

it seems to be true that he had sex with many members of the boy bands. I think Nick Carter was one of these.
I mean, if Pearlman really is a pedophile I don't knwo why nobody sues him? I mean, THIS would REALLY bring him 25 years in jail!
Pearlman is such an ugly man and I think it's absolutely sick to imagien him loving 13, 14 year old boys. It's pervert. Again, one shoudl sue him!

Shame. No one would speak about it before when the money matters first blew up around 1998, and no one's been willing to speak about it since. It's an open secret. I don't know about other boybands, but I've got a pretty good idea who in BSB might've been directly affected. Lou would never take all members of a boyband -generally just the youngest. 5 guesses, and 3 don't count. confused

A lot of sexual assault or molestation cases never make it to court because the victims are unwilling to show themselves publicly or to testify. These boys are already public figures. Their spotlight might have dimmed since, but they're all still known enough the shit could hit the fan if any of them went public.

Its Nick and AJ for sure. Its so obvious since these two have had the most problems. Poor little things. Its so sad. AND they both have classic "stage moms" IMO. I have been a BSB fan for 9 years and have always known in my heart that he molested them. We can't even talk about it on the BSB boards!!! That is what really makes me so angry. People don't even want to consider the possibility!! They get angry if you even imply it, like it would reflect badly on the boys or something. Its not the boys fault if it happened!! Its nice to be able to talk about it openly instead of being villified BY THEIR OWN FANS!! Lou should rot in hell for what he has done to them, and no doubt countless others. mad chainsaw missile

Can anyone tell me why this isn't just malicious slander (the pedophile stuff I mean)? I mean sure, it SEEMS likely, but it's a pretty serious allegation to be making on the basis of "everybodyknows" and "I always felt there was something funny"...

he doesn't sue the people because reporters might start to find out the truth. it's just a rumour and until 2003 he produced boybands. The last one was US 5 which is/was popular in Germany. It's a open secret I guess he loves blonde guys. it's an ugly thought.

That's a big part of why I don't go near BSB or boyband related sites or forums. The intense censorship on those things, and screechy harpy mentality of a lot of regular posters is just too much for me.

When several people connected with Pearlman and the boybands, including ex-members of some of the groups themselves, have publicly made comments and allegations to the effect, it's safe to say something might be up. Especially considering none involved so far have pressed for monetary compensation, and few have any contact with each other. It's not as this is strictly rumour, or that there's an organized faction fishing for money from the guy.

The latest publicized allegations appeared in last November's Vanity Fair. The majority of th article focussed on the financial aspects, but there was a fair portion regarding the pedophile allegations as well. Check it out.

Yeah the parents are as guilty or even more guilty than the pervert or AS guilty. Better check your boy before agreeing to let your child walk off with someone who may intentionally abuse them just because you want your child to make some bread. confused

That reminds me, anyone seen that show I KNOW My Kid's a Star! ?
[Edited 5/25/08 11:51am]

I saw a few snippets of it and I almost threw up at my mouth. It's revolting how parents would act just so their kid could give them a lot of money just so they can act like a teenager buying everything in the store and shit. disbelief

The show's insane. I know stage parents exist, but I can't wrap my head around why there's a platform for them now to live vicariously through their questionably talented kids.

Yep he like blondes. I saw Lou in a Orlando drug store on a late night (like after 3am) with Patrick from Natural when he had the long hair. That kid was looking sheepish as hell. My friend thought that she saw condoms in the bag. LOL Not sure about that, but it just seemed odd to me, and there was a weird vibe from them. It was strange.
