HONEY CONE APPRECIATION THREAD... any fans? Edna Wright, Carolyn Willis, and Shellie Clark I have the Sweet Replies album and absolutely adore and "The Day I Found Myself" (especially the rap in the beginning) "When Will It End" is great too very TRIPPY of course I like their most popular stuff "Want Ads", "Stick Up" I hear people talk about "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show" but have yet to hear it... also wanted to add this tidbit Common sampled some song of theirs for his song "Testify" in which Edna Wright appeared in the video also the song escapes me... naturally there's little to tell about these ladies as they are underrated (compared to The Supremes, Labelle, etc) can anybody share more info? #1, which album should I hear after Sweet Replies? because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

I wrote a thread on here a long time ago about "Want Ads". Which was basically biting off of the J5. I like their other stuff, for the little bit that I've heard. I like their vocals. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

I don't know how you do it Going to all these "oldies" concert. I went to one of those ones once(Magic Lady, The Jones Girls[before Shirley died], Val Young, The Mary Jane Girls, Linda Clifford and Deniece Williams) it was a "Ladies Night" billing and it looked so good on ads lol but the shit was SO depressing I vowed never to go to these concerts anymore. I want to remember those artists I love the way I ALWAYS pictured them to be.
