I remember I was 4 or 5 when I heard "Shadows And Light" the song on a clip from a live show... it was part of a montage of Joni for the Tears Are Not Enough recording sessions special... and I hated it!
Hate hate hated it, and I think that delayed me getting into Joni. Of course now I am hoping to see that exact performance again.  | |

Hate hate hated it, and I think that delayed me getting into Joni. Of course now I am hoping to see that exact performance again. You know, now that you mention it, that's the one part of the concert that I don't like, --It's just that if you hear the great multi-layered version she does on Hissing of the Summer Lawns--well, the concert version doesn't stand up in comparison, IMO....

I don't remember much about how it sounded... more my lil' Colin reaction to it and how she was standing very still to sing it, which I thought looked boring,

Someone lent me a videocassette of this concert. I don't believe I saw the whole concert as I got stuck playing this section over and over again. tA  Tribal Disorder
