Amazing. When it comes to lip-synching, MJ is pretty much on par with every other pop star that lip-synchs. Way to go, King of Pop. lol

He didn't lip synch the whole thing. Towards the end, he actually sang. I don't like when he lip synch's though. I think he's too good of a singer for that. If Mike ever does perform again, I hope he focuses less on his dancing and more on his vocals. Please, no more lip synching ever! mad

I wish MJ would take a lesson from Janet's book.....record different vocals for your "live" performances.

This has always been one of my favorite moments from MJ. I remember that night like it was yesterday. I thought it was great esp. once he really started to sing. I loved the passion in the dancing.

I love that performance and it always gave me chills and inspired me to want to have the same kind of impact on people when performing, but I agree that the lip synching was a letdown for sure cause he's unlike the other pop artists and has a good voice.

I know. Michael also lip syncs in concert. The only songs I can think of he doesn't lip sync are WBSS, Working Day and Night, She's Out of My Life and the Motown medley. I know there are a few more, but I know those few for sure.

He sung gone too soon live at the clinton inauguration and although he lip synched heal the world he left his mic on and you could clearly hear his vocals which were the same so i just don't understand why he lipsyncs. My thoery is as he got more popular in the 80's he became afraid to sing live as he wanted his sound to be perfect like on record. It also didn't help his voice was affected by the long Bad and Dangerous tours

That was a pretty big Grammy year. U2, MJ, Prince all with big albums and songs up for awards.

huh?

Broadway Singers, Opera Singers perform 8-10 shows a week for years and years. and they don't have the kinds of problems MJ has because they take care of their voices.

I love Gone too soon too.

Here´s something I ´ve just seen for the first time. The Way You Make Me Feel at the 30 Anniversary Concert. This time without Britney. I sounds good, not at the very begining, but I think it´s good considering the state he was in during those concerts. Check it out.

I was thinking whofarted lol

Prince's performance of Gold Experience Material during the American Music Awards beat MJ's performance there--Prince at least made the lip syncing tour de force entertaining. lol

yes, indeed, I get a boner just glancing at her.

and why is he covering his face? Aren't the point of those headset mics supposed to be that they're hands-free?
