this one was one of their "leftovers" albums, right? i like it, though. "Try to remember how you used to feel about me
and think about how you're treating me now. Then try to reconcile them, if you can. But you don't even remember, do you?"

"Emotional Rescue" is indeed a great, funky song. Don't care much for the rest of the album though...

I love the funk/disco Stones era (Black&Blue, Some Girls, Emotional Rescue); Emotional Rescue isn't as strong as Some Girls, but the title track is awesome and She's so cold, Dance Pt.1, Send it to me, Let me go and All about you are underrated classics! [Edited 5/16/08 3:33am]

You're probably thinking of Tattoo You. For me, Emotional Rescue was always one of their weakest albums and I can't stand the title track.

I love this tune. I love the the bootleg of Prince covering it with Ron Wood and Sting. Really shows it's funk.

You're probably thinking of Tattoo You. For me, Emotional Rescue was always one of their weakest albums and I can't stand the title track. For some reason I remember reading that this was mostly recorded during the sessions for Some Girls. "Try to remember how you used to feel about me
and think about how you're treating me now. Then try to reconcile them, if you can. But you don't even remember, do you?"
